Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 open and folded in Pantone Scarab
Motorola/CNET

The retro-inspired Motorola Razr Ultra is a premium foldable phone that you can now grab for only $700. That's an incredible $600 off its usual list price of $1,300. But this deal isn't going to hang around for long, and time is definitely running out.

Amazon may only be offering this price on the scarab color, but Best Buy is matching the $700 deal on that and the red finish. But that's part of the retailer's Ultimate Upgrade Sale, so it will end on Sunday. We don't expect Amazon's deal to run far beyond that date, either.

This smartphone earned a CNET review score of 8.3/10 after our expert phone reviewer, Patrick Holland, put it through all the usual tests. According to Holland, it's a big step up from older Razr models, especially those that are a few generations old. The only real complaint was the $1,300 price, which is no longer an issue with this deal.

The 7-inch main display delivers stunning Super HD resolution (2,992x1,224) and a 165Hz refresh rate, keeping everything running smoothly. The main highlight is the bright 4-inch cover screen, which can be used for apps and even games.

The overall design is quite sturdy, and the phone features an IP48 rating for water and dust resistance. There's a trio of lenses with 50-megapixel sensors for crisp pictures. You also get a whopping 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage in this model. Add over 36 hours of battery life, and you've got yourself a reliable companion that won't tap out halfway through your day.

Already missed out on this deal? Motorola is working on this model's replacement, with plenty of Motorola Razr 2026 rumors floating around right now. Smartphone expert Abrar Al-Heeti has also shared her hopes for what the new phone will have to offer customers, too.

Why this deal matters

The Motorola Razr Ultra is one of the best flip phones out there, but at its regular price of $1,300, it's not exactly cheap. This deal brings it down to just $700, which is the lowest price we've seen. But this discounted price probably won't stick around for long, so we recommend acting fast to grab one.
