PlayStation 5 owners now have another way to fund their digital game purchases -- Apple Pay. You can now use the payment method natively on your console. However, Apple Pay isn't currently available on PS4 consoles.

Here's how it works.

How to use Apple Pay on PS5

  • Navigate to whichever purchase you're looking to make
  • Choose your payment option on checkout and select Apple Pay
  • Confirm your purchase

You can save Apple Pay as your preferred payment method so it's as quick as using your saved credit or debit card, letting you use it to buy games, add-ons and other digital purchases on your PS5. It could also give you an opportunity to earn rewards if you're an Apple Card* user, which offers 2% cash back for Apple Pay purchases.

Why choose Apple Pay on PS5?

You can choose Apple Pay if you don't want to save your credit or debit card to your PlayStation, or if you prefer to use Apple Cash to fund your expenses. It's also a good move for people with the Apple Card to boost their reward earnings.
