The hybrid version of Porsche's Cayenne SUV gets ample power from its supercharged engine and electric motor, and also gets the best city fuel economy of the Cayenne lineup. But Porsche doesn't make a serious effort with its cabin electronics.

The power train combines a supercharged 3-liter V-6 with an electric motor, nickel metal hydride battery pack, and eight-speed transmission. Fuel economy is rated at 20 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.
With the optional Porsche Communications Management, an LCD head unit is fitted into the dashboard. It brings in navigation, audio functions, and a Bluetooth phone system.
