2019 Acura ILX: Fresh style and tech

For 2019, Acura performs a second substantially freshening of the current generation ILX.

Out back, a new trunk lid, bumper and LED lights are among the highlights that deliver a sharper look.

Like other Acura vehicles, the ILX finally receives the front end from the Precision Concept.

The A-Spec package rides on exclusive 18-inch wheels and adds various piano black exterior accents.

Visual updates for all ILX models include new panels from the A-pillar forward including restyled fenders, hood, grille and bumper.

For 2019, there are five new exterior paint colors available on the ILX.

Outside a new brown interior color option, the overall layout of the cabin mostly carries over. 

The dual-screen infotainment system does receive revised graphics and is 30 percent quicker to respond to commands.

A 2.4-liter four-cylinder continues to power the ILX making 201 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. That works with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The 2019 Acura ILX is in dealers now with a base price of $26,895, which includes $995 for destination.
