2021 Maserati lineup gets faster, smarter and more luxurious

The 2021 Maserati range gets a bit bigger with the introduction of two new Trofeo models.

The V8-powered Trofeo trim gives a significant performance uplift for the Quattroporte and Ghibli.

The model range also benefits from the new Maserati Intelligent Assistant infotainment system.

MIA is based on Stellantis' excellent Uconnect 5 and is much faster and feature-rich than the outgoing system.

Maserati also expands its work with fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna on new premium interior options.

The Levante Trofeo retains its 3.8-liter, 580-horsepower twin-turbo V8 for 2021, as well as its all-wheel-drive system.

This winning combination makes it one of the most engaging performance SUVs on sale now.

The Quattroporte Trofeo returns to the model's roots in a way, with previous iterations offering a V8 as standard.

The Quattroporte and Ghibli get the same 580 horsepower as the Levante, but send it through the rear wheels exclusively.

This makes for much lighter, and more nimble feeling performance.
