The Kona N will be Hyundai's first performance crossover

A hot Hyundai Kona N performance crossover is almost here.

It gets unique styling cues like larger exhaust tips, new wheels and different grille patterns.

There will be lots of N badges, of course.

The Kona N will use the same turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four as the Veloster N.

It'll also use Hyundai's new eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The Kona N will likely only be offered with front-wheel drive. 

No interior photos were released, but expect new bucket seats and other performance bits.

The Kona N should also get bigger brakes and a new suspension setup.

The Kona N will likely debut in the coming weeks.
