Android Auto running on a smartphone

This is what Android Auto looks like running on a phone.

The interface is simplified, but should be familiar. This is Spotify.

Want to jump through a lengthy list? Thank goodness, you finally can do that.

That'll let you run through your entire list of favorite albums, for example.

And yes, you can still use your phone like a phone, but much of the more distracting functionality has been disabled.

Cleverly, Android Auto can be set to auto-launch whenever it pairs to your car over Bluetooth.

Easy to use and less distracting than a straight up smartphone, but be sure to check out your local laws!
