Mercedes-AMG Project One hypercar is 1,000 horsepower incarnate

 This is the Project One hypercar! 

It's a sort of Formula One car for the road, produced by Mercedes-AMG. 

The car will make over 1,000 horsepower from a tiny, 1.6-liter V6!

That, plus a whopping four electric motors, including two on the front axle. 

Those motors will both add power and also regenerate under braking, charging the onboard battery pack. 

Performance is expected to be outrageous, higher than anything we've seen before. 

A lot of that is thanks to the lightweight, carbon fiber construction. 

It has less power than a Bugatti Chiron, but should be far quicker around a race track. 

The price? Said to be 2.3 million euros ($2.7 million), and fewer than 300 will be produced. 

And we hate to break it to ya, but they've all been sold already.
