BMW's biggest luxury sedan offers European styling and performance.

The 750i retains classic BMW styling, such as the kidney grille.

Its 4.8-liter engine makes 360 horsepower, plenty to move this car forward. But if that's not enough for you, you can also opt for the 760i, which comes with a V-12.

For handling, the 750i uses active stabilizer bars to keep it flat in the corners.

The back seats of the 750i are very comfortable--this is a car worthy of a chauffer.

BMW keeps the dashboard clean by relegating most functions to iDrive.

The steering wheel includes buttons on the front and back for manually shifting the transmission.

BMW keeps the climate controls handy, although you can also access them through iDrive.

The main controller for iDrive is this knob, with a convenient menu button for getting back to the main menu screen.

The 750i only has two real gauges, for speed and RPMs, while the fuel level is a virtual gauge.

We like the seat controls on the side of the console. They are more conveniently placed than ones set down on the side of the seat.

The main menu include four main functions, climate, entertainment, communication, and navigation, plus four sub-areas.

The map resolution on the navigation system is very high.

You can also switch the map to a 3D perspective.

We found entering addresses with the iDrive system fairly easy. We could quickly turn the iDrive knob to get from letter to letter.

As a throwback to last century, the available CD changer is a cartridge style system. It redeems itself by reading MP3 CDs, something the main CD player can't do.

Browsing folders on an MP3 CD is easy with iDrive, but it doesn't have a screen that just shows you what's currently playing.

The 750i also comes with satellite radio.

Bluetooth cell phone integration is excellent, as the system downloads your phone book, making all contacts available on the screen.

If you want to dial a number directly, this keypad is at the ready, concealed in the dashboard.

You can also use iDrive to access climate controls on-screen.

This trip computer can be set to show in the assistance screen, off to the side of the main screen.

This park distance sensor display lets you see the location objects and their proximity to the car.

Night vision is an extra feature in the 750i, design for dark country roads.
