If you're catching up to four films each week in AMC theaters with a monthly Stubs A-List membership, it might cost you a bit more to go to the movies in July.

AMC Theaters is updating the price of select plans on July 15, according to its website, with existing customers experiencing the price hike on their first billing on or after that date.

Stubs A-List is the top tier in AMC's Stubs loyalty program and provides perks such as waived online ticket fees and no extra charge for premium formats like IMAX. The subscription used to limit customers to three movies per week, but that changed with a price increase in May 2025. Last year, AMC also lowered the minimum age to join A-List to 13.

An A-List membership you can use in any state will soon rise from $28 per month to $30, and one you can use in states outside of California and New York is also increasing by $2 to $28 per month. Come July, it'll cost you $26 to watch films at AMC theaters in any state outside California, Colorado, Connecticut, Washington DC, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Virginia and Washington.

The A-List subscription, which lets you watch four movies per week in 24 states, is not changing from $20 per month, and AMC Theaters is also not updating the price of its $15 plan, which lets you watch one movie per week at AMC Classic brand theaters, according to its website. If you're on a gift plan and the price of your membership is changing, you'll see the new rate after the gift period ends.
